Project Overview

A branding and logo design project developed for a hairdressing salon based in Sydney, focused on creating a refined and distinctive visual identity that reflects both craftsmanship and elevated client experience. The objective was to position the salon as a premium yet approachable destination, combining modern aesthetics with a sense of individuality and care.

Design Approach

The design centred on a custom typographic system, where I developed a bespoke font treatment to give the brand a unique and recognisable voice. The letterforms were carefully refined to balance elegance and structure, subtly referencing the fluidity and movement of hair. Complementing the typography, I created an emblem inspired by a crown motif—symbolising confidence, transformation, and personal expression. This mark was designed to function as both a standalone icon and a supporting brand element across various applications.
